The art of Creativity by Hagit Azoulay Rozanes

The Coolest Teacher in the World

Cassie Stephens has got to be the coolest teacher in the world! I love following her Instagram, it’s such a colorful boost of inspiration! Cassie teaches elementary art classes, she’s beautiful and colorful and creative, and she’s used to people whispering behind her back when she’s on her way to work. She knows it’s because of her dress:

or this one:

She tends to dress inspired by an artist, a painting, or art supplies (!!), and she has the purses and shoes to go with each dress. Still not impressed? well, about this – she sews all of these dresses!

Ms. Stephens takes her class seriously, too, and it’s always so colorful and fun to look at! I love how she changes the decor every season and holiday. Not so long ago they had a whole forest of trees (which she hand made) in there, and in Christmas they had a huge Christmas tree full of art supply themed decorations, all hand-made. Look at all these colors and detail!

These cute paint tubes were all hand made from toilet paper rolls, and you could find the tutorial on Ms. Stephens’ blog.

But wait, she’s not only colorful and fun, she also seems like a great teacher, and i love the ideas she shares on her blog and instagram, for example, this one, where students who have completed an in-class assignment can pull out a stick, each stick has a prompt or drawing idea on it, and they can work on that while their paint is drying, or their peers are still working.

Cassie Stephens also felts, and you can find lots of beautiful felted items like this coat, which she felted, including a tutorial.

When she traveled in Italy, she felted postcards (WOW!) of the sights she saw. Absolutely amazing, isn’t it?

I also love when she shares artwork by her students:

So yes, I think this is one of the coolest Instagram accounts I’ve ever seen, I really love everything she shares, it’s always so colorful and inspiring and FUN! So tell me, who are your favorite artsy instagrammers?

I hope you found this post interesting, and would be delighted if you shared it!
